THREE thousand women of all ages ran, jogged or walked a 5km route at Waddesdon Manor yesterday (Sunday).
They were taking part in the annual Race for Life fundraiser for Cancer Research.

Clare Doherty was just one of the participants. She emailed The Bucks Herald last night.

Clare wrote: "I am writing to say well done to all of you who took part in the Race for Life at Waddesdon Manor today.......and a big thank you to all the volunteers and also to everybody who sponsored me. I took part with two friends, my first time taking part and I hope to enter again next year. The atmosphere was great, tinged with sadness for many of us I am sure but also very positive too. We were lucky enough to have wonderful weather too. Looking forward to seeing you all there again next year!"

We want to know how you got on at the Race. Please ring Anna Dowdeswell on 01296 619771.
