KIMBLE and Ellseborough Horticultural Autumn Show takes place today (Sunday)
Events on today (Sunday) includes:
SHOW: Autumn Show of the Kimble and Ellesborough Horticultural Society at Stewart Hall, Little Kimble 2pm to 4.30pm. Flowers, fruit, vegetables and floral art.
WALK: With Aylesbury and District Ramblers. Meet at 10am by the green, Quainton. Walk passes Shipton Lee and Finemere Hill House. Good views. Picnic lunch stop. 8 miles, moderate. For more information ring Jerry on 01296 481900.
GARDENS: Claydon House Gardens open as part of the National Gardens Scheme. From 2pm to 5pm, £3.50 admission. Teas. Herbaceous borders, Victorian kitchen garden and more.
TALK: At Woodrow High House Amersham, on Sulgrave Manor and the Washington family. 6.30pm for 7pm. Tickets £12.50 inc supper. Proceeds to Woodrow High House. For tickets ring 01494 676594.
