The family of 22-year-old Jamie Bowey, who died in a fatal collision on the A418, Aylesbury paid tribute to him.

"Jamie came from a loving, large extended family. He leaves behind a close-knit group of loyal caring friends whom he valued so highly.

"For a young man of only 22 he touched an enormous number of lives, working for Waitrose in Leighton Buzzard, Berkhamstead and Canary Wharf and all his travels both in the U.K. and abroad.

"He had recently started a job with Virgin Rail, based at Euston that he was excelling in and had a bright future in an industry he loved.

"He had many interests but his love of life, his wonderful sense of humour and his ability to get on fantastically well with people of all ages is what he will be remembered for most.

"He lived in Wingrave since he was 12 and previously in Linslade, he attended Cheddington Primary, Cottesloe, and Cedars sixth form.

"Everything he did was so brilliant and his amazing personality shone through.

"He is going to be missed terribly and everybody who knew him is completely devastated.

"Funeral details will be announced as soon as possible."

Jamie was one of my closest friends. I'll never forget the fun times we had together, the way he used to make me laugh. I miss him so much. I'll always have my memories of his smiling, cheeky face to hold on to. My thoughts are with his family at this tragic time. xxx
