Cyclist seriously injured after crash in Aylesbury

A 45-YEAR-OLD man remains in a stable condition in hospital after a collision with a car in Aylesbury last week.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the man sustained serious injuries following the collision last Thursday (November 13).

Police said that at approximately 5pm a cyclist and a dark blue Volkswagen Golf collided at a pelican crossing on the Bicester Road, near to the junction with Griffin Lane.

The cyclist sustained serious, but non life threatening injuries to his back and was taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or has any information is urged to contact PC Mark Edwards of Aylesbury Roads Policing Department via the 24-hour Police Enquiry Centre 0845 8 505 505 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
