RESIDENTS were forced out of their homes this morning when a water main burst for the second time in 18 months.
In February last year residents of Aston Clinton Road suffered thousands of pounds of damage when a water main burst in the middle of the night.

This morning at about 11am they were reliving the nightmare. Water physically forced the road up and it then gushed into people's gardens, flooding at least four houses.

A fire crew from Aylesbury arrived quickly to provide sand bags and pump water back into the drains. Thames Water arrived about an hour after it was reported to switch off the the pipes.

More on this as we get it, pictures coming soon.
