Antiques Roadshow's Eric Knowles to host Weston Turville School PTA Auction
THE star of BBC's Antiques Road Show, Eric Knowles, is to host an Auction of Promises to raise funds for Weston Turville Primary Schools' Parent Teachers Association (PTA).
The auction will be held in Weston Turville Village Hall on Friday May 16, from 7p.m and the aim is to raise to raise funds for the school's Outdoor Adventure Trail. The total cost of this project is £14,500 and the PTA are hoping to raise the remaining £4,000 through this fundraising event.
There are over 60 lots going under the hammer, which have been donated by local and national businesses and parents. These range from the promise of a portrait of your house, to a night out for a party of 10 at Oxford Greyhound Stadium. There will also be licensed bar and refreshments.
