Toe-tapping musical coming to Pendley
A Chorus Line is a musical about a group of Broadway dancers auditioning for spots on a chorus line.
The show provides a glimpse into the personalities of the performers and the choreographer as they describe the events that have shaped their lives and their decisions to become dancers.
The original Broadway production was an unprecedented box office and critical hit, receiving 12 Tony Award nominations and winning nine of them, in addition to the 1976 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
Now Tring Festival Company is bringing the show to the Court Theatre, Pendley.
Steve Davies stars as harsh director Zach and Nikki George as the infamous Broadway chorus girl, Cassie.
The company welcomes Jo Clarke (aka Jo Redburn) to Tring Festival Company to direct and choreograph this exciting production, alongside Mike Paul-Smith, the musical director and a 16-piece orchestra.
The high-energy, all singing, all dancing cast will get your toes tapping and everyone wanting to jump up and dance.
This is a production oozing excitement, enthusiasm and talent and is not to be missed.
A Chorus Line plays at the Court until Saturday June 27. Tickets are available from the box office on: 01442 823130.
