Pupils spring into drama that caused such a stir
Talented drama students at Tring School are aiming to build on the sellout success of last year’s Romeo & Juliet by tackling another seminal play which puts young people firmly centre stage.
Frank Wedekind’s 1891 drama Spring Awakening might not be as familiar as the Shakespare love story, but it is an uncompromising piece which tackles the problems of growing up and becoming an adult. Advance publicity warns that it’s not suitable for young children, and the show will run from January 22 to 25 at the Court Theatre, Pendley. Tickets (£6/£8) are available from the school on 01442 822303
