CIVIC PLANS A YEAR OF MUSIC, FUN AND DRAMA
(WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 20) AYLESBURY Civic Centre is looking forward to an outstanding 2007 with one of the best programmes of music, comedy, dance, drama and children's shows the venue has ever seen.
One of the first of the musical highlights is a new band called The Good, The Bad and the Queen featuring Damon Albarn of Blur and Gorillaz and Paul Simonon of The Clash. They visit Aylesbury on February 4.
Having recently made their debut at the BBC Electric Proms, this band is set to be something special with influences ranging from the English music hall tradition, through Afrobeat, reggae and dub to London's punk scene and Britpop.
On February 21, the amazing West Country singer/songwriter Seth Lakeman takes to the stage.
