THAT's the view of today's correspondent
I feel I must take to task Shirley Barnes's letter suggesting that our Jansel Square shops are an eyesore and should be demolished.

There is nothing wrong with our shopping area and we are very lucky to have such a good selection of facilities on our doorstep, yes the canopy needs a good coat of paint I'll agree.

We enjoy a good free car park. Many people are glad to visit them from the villages around us.

Yes, some of the paving needs tidying up, but our biggest problem is the litter bugs, including in Bedgrove Park.

The main culprits here are brain dead yobs who leave a right mess around the shops most nights and don't understand what litter bins are.

Perhaps we can hope our community police officers will sort these problems out.
