On behalf of Aylesbury Showcase (and Jam Central Records), I would just like to express and say a massive THANK YOU to my team of colleagues and friends and to all the people behind the scenes (you know who you are), who helped make this 'Hobble on the Cobbles' event such a great success for a second consecutive year.
A huge thank you also to all our sponsors, to all the local businesses who have supported and advertised with us or kindly donated prizes for the raffle; Thank you to all the talented bands and musicians who performed as part of this 'Aylesbury Showcase', especially Fish and Marillion - and of course this event wouldn't have been successful without the support, enthusiasm and passion of all the wonderful local music fans... THANK YOU AYLESBURY!!!
(For one night only Aylesbury Showcase recreated history, having achieved something so special, something so many people have been trying to do for the past 20 years and never succeeded... If you were there, you'll know what I'm talking about... If you weren't, Fish introduced the original members of Marillion (Steve Rothery, Ian Mosely, Mark Kelly, Pete Trewavas) to join him on stage to perform "Market Square Heroes"].
We hope you all had a fantastic day and enjoyed our music festival.
If you have any comments, then we would of course love to hear what you thought, so please email your comments to office@aylesburyshowcase.co.uk
Once again, thank you to EVERYONE who came along and supported Aylesbury Showcase's 'Hobble on the Cobbles 2007'... see you again soon!

Fantastic day well done to everyone involved. Fish was awesome, to see him back with Marillion was a dream come true may future Hobbles be as great.

A group of us travelled up to Aylesbury from Gloucester yesterday and had a fantastic day. It was a dream come true for me to see Fish singing with Marillion and I honestly thought it was something I might never experience. I discovered Fish's music in 1995 and have been a huge fan and dedicated gig and event attender since then. However I'm 31 now which means that I was too young to ever see Fish when he was with Marillion back in the 80s.
I know that most of the fish and Marillion fans there yesterday (and there were a lot of us,even a group from Norway) felt the same about this being a mind-blowingly unique and special moment, something which will remain with us forever.
I am pregnant and the baby is due in 2 weeks time so we desperately tried not to get too excited about this gig just incase we couldn't make it, but being heavily pregnant was most definitely not going to stop me enjoying every minute of this special day.
Many thanks

Why did the Aylesbury group the Shaker Heights not get an invite to play the cobbles as thier were groups from outside the town that did?
I saw them play at Wycombe instead very good if they make it you could'nt blame them if they stuck to fingers up to the town.
