THAT'S the question being asked by today's correspondent Matt Brown
Dear Madam,

Whilst driving on the A418 to work this morning - Monday - I think I saw a monkey.

I travel on this road every morning and am used to spotting all manner of small animals such as rabbits, birds, foxes and even on one occasion a small deer but never before have I set eyes on a monkey.

It was early - about 4.30am - and the light was gloomy but I feel sure that I saw a small, sandy coloured monkey scamper across the road. I wondered if any of your readers have seen the Dinton Demon too..? Do we have monkeys wandering around the county..?

If this is true it must constitute some sort of health and safety risk and I felt bound to bring it to your attention as soon as possible.

Many thanks,

Matt Brown
