Disappointed with Watermead

OVER the last weekend I attended the Watermead central area near to the pub by the shops and fountain with my three young god children and their parents, whilst we were enjoying a relaxing time I went to the lakes edge and was disappointed with what I saw.
It was delightful on a warm summers day to see people wandering around and enjoying the views accross the lake, what I find hard to understand is the mess on the area leading to the lake caused by Swans & Ducks, This area is full of old excrement from these animals, its lovely to see the animals and the children take great delight in seeing them, but to be honest it is like walking around a sewage farm.

If this was anyway in Europe such as Southern France or Spain, the area would be jetwashed on a daily basis. I do not live in Watermead but would have though the residents would address the situation. The place is a disgrace and am also suprised the pub is not addressing the situation, it really is rather unpleasant and could easily have been prevented from turning in to the sorry state it now is. TBH, I think the entire Watermead estate is a disgrace. Full of over-paid, 4x4 driving, stuck-up NIMBY's. The swans & ducks have probably just been passing their own comment!

Shame the swans and ducks don't make their way over to the lovely stoke Grange estate to pass their comment on you!

The problem can't be that bad. After all, the circus wants to go there.
And by the way, you wouldn't have Swan & duck excrement all over the steps if people didn't let their children feed the wildlife, encouraging the birds to come up the steps.
