Win tickets to top London show with The Bucks Herald
DIRECTOR Peter Hall returns to The Old Vic in London for the first time in ten years, to bring his critically acclaimed production of Bernard Shaw's enduring classic comedy Pygmalion.
Henry Higgins (Tim Pigott-Smith) is the arrogant professor of phonetics who makes a bet with his friend Colonel Pickering that he can turn Cockney flower girl, Eliza Doolittle (Michelle Dockery), into a duchess.
Pygmalion formed the basis of the much-loved musical My Fair Lady, famously filmed with Audrey Hepburn and Rex Harrison.
