MARILLION frontman Fish was joined by original band members last night (Sunday) for another fantastic Hobble on the Cobbles event in Aylesbury.
In what was a surprise appearance, the band entertained the crowd as the headline act for the festival, which ran throughout the day.
Speaking before the day, Fish told The Bucks Herald: "It'll be the first time I have played in Aylesbury for a very long time."
"I still have a lot of fond memories from those early days in the town before we signed to EMI in 82. I always wanted to play a show in the Market Square but Hobble on the Cobbles had shut down as an event a couple of years before I joined Marillion in 81.
"Our first single was titled Market Square Heroes and it would be an injustice if the song wasn't played on the day. I'm really looking forward to returning to what was the spiritual birthplace of my career as a singer."
And, according to people in the crowd, he did not disappoint.
Our chief photographer Derek Pelling was there, along with digital journalist Damien Lucas.
The Bucks Herald will be bringing you a video report of many of the day's bands, as well as picture slideshows. There'll also be great coverage in Wednesday's paper.
