BLUESROCK band Moondogs return to the Limelight Theatre on Friday October 17 after two previous successful shows.
They replace the Carvin Jones Band from the USA who were scheduled to play on this date but had to cancel their UK tour.

Moondogs have played with some of the world's greatest musicians, and have performed at WOMAD and at the Chicago Blues Festival in France. Many will remember their appearance at Hobble on the Cobbles 2006 in Aylesbury. The Moondogs set usually consists of well crafted original numbers and popular blues/rock covers.

The band is made up of pro session musicians and therefore, as they are in constant demand, the line up of Moondogs can change, but one constant is local musician, band leader, singer songwriter and guitarist Derik Timms, who lives in Hardwick.

For the Limelight gig the band features Guinness Gordon on bass (Mick Abrahams Band, Bernie Marsden Band) , Steve Rodford on drums (The Zombies) and guitar supremo Dizal Martin.

Doors open at 7pm for an 8pm start. Tickets are £9 / £8 concessions and you can now book your advance tickets online at www.qpc.org as well as visiting the venue in person or calling 01296 431272 / 424332. If you don't get round to buying in advance you should be able to buy on the door subject to availability.
