PANTO time is here again, and in Aylesbury we have Peter Pan, opening at the Civic Centre on Saturday December 8.
The star of the show, playing both Mr Darling and the villainous Captain Hook, is Paul Daniels.
Paul is not only one of the most accomplished magicians in the world, but also a complete entertainer.
In addition to numerous live shows he has performed more unique magic on TV than any other magician in history.
Playing Mrs Darling and Minnie the Mermaid is Debbie McGee, who started her show business career as a dancer, and has been married to Paul for nearly 20 years.
Terry Gleed, who played Wishee Washee in last year's Aladdin and was a huge success with the audience, is back again as Smee.
The show promises to be great fun with all the traditional ingredients, plus acrobatics and special effects. As is usual with this show, it will help to support the work of the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity.

Aladdin is this year's choice at Milton Keynes, where the fun starts on Friday December 7.
Two stars of Coronation Street head the cast: Bradley Walsh will be causing havoc as Aladdin's brother Wishee Washee, and Eric Potts is their Mum, the fabulous Widow Twankey. Michael Quinn, Grease Is The Word finalist, is Aladdin and Eloise Irving, How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria finalist, is the Princess.
With sparkling sets, spectacular costumes, singing, dancing, comedy and bags of audience participation this is a show guaranteed to amaze the whole family.

West End musical star Brian Conley heads the cast at the Wycombe Swan playing Buttons in Cinderella, also opening on December 7. Appearing with him on stage are Ugly Sisters Nigel Ellacott and Peter Robbins, who will have you booing and hissing in true panto style.
With a fabulous supporting cast and the most magical transformation scene in pantoland, Cinderella promises to have Wycombe Swan's hallmark of quality entertainment for all the family.

Oxford Playhouse's Aladdin opened last week. The Playhouse creative team, led by irrepressible master of musicals and former Blue Peter presenter Peter Duncan, is weaving its magic to bring you an Aladdin's cave full of sparkling festive entertainment.
Simon Green returns as the gorgeous Widow Twankey with a fabulous cast of your favourite characters in this much-loved story, with singing, dancing, all-round merriment and festive fun.

Opening on December 30 and playing over two weekends is The Court Theatre Pendley's panto, Cinderella, presented as ever by Chuckles.
Over the years Chuckles has built a considerable local following for its family orientated pantos.
Proceeds from performances are re-circulated back into the community by way of donations to local schools, youth organisations, clubs, and charities.
