TICKETS for the first ever music festival at Waddesdon Manor are selling fast and with three outstanding nights of fantastic open-air picnic concerts from July 3-5, it's no wonder these are the hottest pieces of paper currently exchanging hands amongst Bucks music lovers.
Entertaining audiences on the opening night are Welsh opera star Katherine Jenkins, with the National Symphony Orchestra, and special guests Blake. On the Friday it's The Sounds of the Blues Brothers and The Motown Show; and Saturday will be The Counterfeit Stones and Buddy Holly and The Cricketers - all with the Manor spectacularly floodlit for the occasion.

For 16 years, Buddy Holly and The Cricketers Show has been a hit all over the world. This fast, furious and funny rock 'n' rollercoaster of a concert is guaranteed to have everyone singing along to timeless hits such as That'll Be The Day, Peggy Sue, Raining In My Heart, Heartbeat, Oh Boy and many, many more.

Show Producer Simon Fielder said: "This is a great, fun live show with music that's perfect for a summer's evening, particularly in Waddesdon Manor's beautiful setting. You get a special atmosphere from outside concerts and it's great music for the whole family.

"This special Golden Anniversary show is very tongue-in-cheek. Buddy Holly is back alive and touring, with The Cricketers giving him a trip around the country surprising him with his mates from the 50s, such as Elvis, the Everley Brothers and Little Richard, along for a nostalgic ride. We are bringing the music alive here and now, played with energy and passion. The guys are all professional West End performers and the music sounds as fresh today as it did 50 years ago."

The show will feature a mix of Buddy's hits and improvised and scripted comedy. Gates open at 6pm, concert starts at 7.30pm. For tickets visit www.seetickets.com/waddesdon or call 08712307136.
