AN Aylesbury man has been arrested today in connection with the death of Mustapha Charkaui.
In a statement released this afternoon, police said the man remains in police custody.

Mr Charkaui was murdered on Monday March 12 at his home in Dunsham Lane, Aylesbury.

DCI Karen Trego from the Force's major crime unit said: "We still need to speak to anyone who saw Mustapha, who was also known as Chris, on Monday 12 March, as we are trying to piece together his last movements.

"We also need to speak to anyone who was in Dunsham Lane or Elmhurst Road between 9.30pm and 11pm on Monday, March 21, or who knows who may have committed the crime. Any piece of information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, could help us to find the people responsible for Mr Charkaui's death."

Anyone with any information should contact DCI Trego at Aylesbury Police Station on 0845 8 505 505 or, if you don't want to talk to police or give your name, call the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
