What’s your earliest memory?

Going fishing with my dad.

What do you wish they’d taught you at school, but didn’t?

How to make the bed properly.

Ignore what you’re doing now – if you could do any job in the world, what would it be and why?

An astronaut – it would be great to be able to walk on the moon and see the earth from space.

Of all the places you’ve been in your life, which would you recommend to a stranger?

Dartmoor – a very isolated place but fantastic for wild camping.

If you could pass one new law tomorrow, what would it be and why?

Three-day weekends because weekends go too fast.

You can invite three people – living or dead, from any period – round for dinner.

Who are they and why?

Leonardo Da Vinci, Neil Armstrong and my grandmother. Three people I would like to talk more to about their lives.

If you were stuck on Death Row, what would you pick for your final meal?

A bacon and egg roll (or maybe two).

If you could write your own epitaph or come up with famous last words in advance, what would you pick?

Would the last to leave please turn off the lights.

If you could have any super power, what would it be and why?

Ability to fly. It worked for Superman.

How do you relax?

Reading.

What’s your greatest fear?

Getting old and not having achieved the things I want to do.

What was the last little treat you bought for yourself, or someone else?

A quarter-pounder with cheese.

If you had to give up something tomorrow, what would you find it hardest to live without?

My iPad.

What’s the most important lesson that life has taught you so far?

Chill out because life doesn’t always go to plan.

If you could leap forward to the year 2050, what would you expect, or hope to find there?

The Greys – a very funny and free web comic produced by a couple of friends of mine and recently featured in Aylesbury Town Council magazine.
