IF YOU can get it right for the greatest show on Earth, you can do anything, says the newly appointed Olympics manager for Bucks.
Ian Barham is urging firms of all sizes in the county to take advantage of the estimated 75,000 business opportunities arising from the staging of the London Games in 2012.

There are currently three businesses based in Aylesbury named by the Olympic Delivery Authority's as having supplied them- consultants Sypol, IT firm Caps Solutions, and recruitment specialists Computer People.

However, the Olympic organisers have laid down Draconian rules forbidding businesses on the supply list using the Games for marketing purposes.

Linda Walton, chair of the Federation of Small Businesses South Bucks and Aylesbury Branch, said: "Our small businesses want to say they were successful in winning contracts and that their work will be delivered to the exacting standards required."
