PRINCES RISBOROUGH's town centre is not in decline and continues to attract new traders, the chairman of the town's business group has said.
Mike Pitcher, chairman of Risborough Area Business Group, was responding to recent reports suggesting the state of the town centre was on a downward spiral.
Speaking at RABG's monthly meeting earlier this month, he said: "Risborough is not as bad as perhaps some feel it may be.
The situation is very similar to what it was three years ago. There has been a 30 per cent regeneration in the town, 30 per cent of businesses here now were not here three years ago.
"That means people do believe there's a future in Risborough and are prepared to put their money on the line."
