THE chairman of Risborough Area Business Group is reminding traders the value of joining the town's shoppers' loyalty scheme.
Risborough Rewards was launched in late 2006, but Mike Pitcher said at the moment not all businesses were taking advantage of it.

Under the scheme, traders offer some form of incentive to card-holders and this is then communicated to 500 shoppers via e-mail.

News of special events can also be advertised in this way.

Mr Pitcher said the e-mails were an ideal way to reach the local market. "The object is to raise your business profile and get people into your shop," he said.

The cost for businesses to join Risborough Rewards is £25, whilst for shoppers it is free.
