LITRE Meter, a manufacturer and supplier of custom flow meters, has celebrated its move to new premises with an open day.
Previously located at premises in Aylesbury, Litre Meter has moved to Hart Hill Barn close to North Marston near Buckingham.

The new premises are located in a specially converted agricultural building.

Hart Hill Barn has been designed in two halves. One half of the building houses the test area, bays for manufacturing meters and stores. The other half of the building comprises meeting rooms, a staff kitchen and modern open plan office space .

Customers, suppliers and staff gathered to toast the move at a champagne reception. A plaque to mark the occasion was unveiled by Mrs Sheila Nuttall and Dr Roger Baker MA, AM, PhD, CEng, FIMeche, an international expert on flow metering from Cambridge University.

Sheila Nuttall, mother of managing director Charles Wemyss and widow of founder Sandy Wemyss, started proceedings.

She said: "I am delighted that Litre Meter is enjoying continued success. The company has certainly come a long way since its humble origins in a double garage in 1972.

"These premises are testament to all the hard work put in over the years to make Litre Meter such a success. They are an improvement on the premises Litre Meter moved from in Aylesbury."
