Maryisa Allen has become managing director of Premier Windows and Doors in Aylesbury after buying out the manufacturing arm of the company.
As a result, the company is now a completely separate business from Premier Windows, which will specialise in installation.

Mrs Allen is responsible for seven staff at Premier Windows and Door's factory in Chamberlain Road.

She said: "I have been in manufacturing for 12 years and it is something I am familiar with.

"It made sense to divide the company and concentrate on these departments - it got too big to deal with as it was."

The business manufactures windows, doors and conservatories for tradespeople and the general public.

"We are offering the same discount to anyone walking through the door as we would to tradesmen," added Mrs Allen, who lives in Milton Keynes but was born in Aylesbury.
