Harvey Nics takes on Rachel's cosmetics range for men

A Fairford Leys businesswoman has won a deal with luxury department store Harvey Nichols to stock her cosmetics range which is specially formulated for men.
Rachel Westwood's company, Skin Scientists, sell a number of producsts under its ManCeuticals range, including 'dark circle eye treatment', 'wrinkle combat gel' and 'maximum hydration face lotion'.

The range will be exclusive to Harvey Nics throughout the UK and Ireland until the end of July. They are also available at the ManCeuticals website, and at stockists throughout the world.

Miss Westwood said: "We have had great feedback from store managers in regards to how well the range is selling and also how effective the products are.

"Our dark circle eye treatment is doing incredibly well, press reviews have been fantastic and it now being recommended to women too."

She added: "We have had much interest from other department stores in the UK and expect to supply them in the second half of 2009. In terms of overseas sales we have recently signed contracts with top distributors in Spain, France, Belgium and India.

"We are also talking to additional distributors overseas, and hope to sign contracts soon."

The 29 year old once turned down the opportunity to appear on BBC hit show Dragon's Den as she wanted to retain complete control of her business.
