Barbers step in to give Martin a close shave

A STAFF member of an Aylesbury estate agent went to the barbers for a close shave on his beard and moustache for charity.
Martin Smith, senior sales negotiator at Brown and Merry, headed to SW1 Barbers on Bourbon Street and raised nearly £250 for CLIC Sargent after being persuaded by colleagues at a Christmas works do to shave his facial hair. There was a collection box at the barbers and friends, family, work colleagues and even the postman dug deep for the cause.

Mr Smith said: "I had my beard for seven years and so I still have a cold chin. It was a bit of a shock for my partner because she has only ever seen me with a beard."
