The jump took place on Friday afternoon 13,000 feet above Hinton-in-the-Hedges, falling for 42 seconds at 120 miles per hour before a three minute descent with the parachute.
Richard said: "It was absolutely amazing, a totally bizarre experience that words don't do justice. Definitely it was the biggest high I've ever had. We were all quite nervous at first because it's just not natural to jump out of an aeroplane, but it was for such a worthy cause and everyone seemed to know about it so the pressure really was on.
"Everyone's thrilled with the amount that's been raised for Cancer Dogs, their work has implications on the way that cancer will be detected in the futre and it's exciting to be helping out at such an early stage."
Claire Guest, chief executive of the charity and dog trainer, who also took part in the jump, said: "I was really nervous about the jump, but everyone else was doing it so I guess I couldn't back out. I'm really glad that we did it and the money we've raised is just fantastic."
