BHTV was there as the Southcourt bridge at Aylesbury Train Station was lifted out and replaced using a 200 tonne crane on Sunday.
We captured the huge craine lifting out the bridge and loading it onto the back of a specialist truck in an operation which took most of Sunday to complete.

Due to high winds and poor weather the works, which included the installation of a temporary footbridge, were delayed by several hours on the day but workmen perservered and got the job done.

BHTV spoke to Bucks County Council's major project manager Raj Rajkumar about the bridge lift, which is a key part of Aylesbury Transport Hub works, as well as timescales and the planned boulevard near the train station.
