TWO teenage dancers from Aylesbury have beaten off competition from 160 talented competitors to be chosen for the Urban Strides Dance Troupe, and BHTV has seen them in action.
Cyrus Brandon and Segun Favole, both Mandeville School pupils, will now get the chance to perform in front of more than 20,000 people at arenas such as O2 London and the London Olympia.
Urban Strides Dance Troupe is an elite team of 26 young hip-hop professionals ranging from 8-21 years of age and regarded the UK's No.1 youth hip-hop dance crew.
BHTV caught up with Cyrus and Segun ahead of their big show dates and also saw a sneak preview of one of their dances.
Andy Instone, creative director of Urban Strides, said: "When Segun and Cyrus came to our classes as beginners you could tell they had that natural funk. Since then they have worked their way up, always stayed focused and have a really great attitude and work ethic."
